Food packaging and processing solutions

Tetra Pak specialises in complete solutions for processing, packaging and distributing food and beverage products.

Dairy products, juices and nectars, ice cream, cheese, dry foods, fruits, vegetables and pet food are examples of products that can be processed or packaged in Tetra Pak® processing and packaging lines. We focus on keeping the consumption of all raw materials and energy to a minimum during both the manufacturing process and distribution. The processing solutions are also designed to treat the products gently.

Downstream equipment

Accumulators

Tetra Pak® ​​Accumulator Helix 30 accumulates packages safely between filling machine and downstream equipment. Consequently it reduces filling machine stops, raises up-time and avoids eventual damage to packages queuing on your production line. Different models are optimised to work with different capacities, up to 24,000 p/h. Tetra Pak's reliable, space-efficient accumulators are designed to meet the needs of our packaging lines.

Cap applicators

Tetra Pak has a wide range of closures available for many of our packages including portion packs, family packs, chilled and ambient solutions and we have a Cap Applicator suited for each one of those closures, designed to run in perfect unison with the rest of the packaging line. Advanced features such as Vision System, Auto-eject and Triple Hotmelt guarantee fast & accurate results.

Cardboard packers

Fast and versatile cardboard packers. Different products, different consumers, different channels. Satisfy all their needs with a Tetra Pak® Cardboard Packer that can switch between production of cardboard boxes, trays and wrap around units with different packaging patterns. Offering up to 12,000 different combinations, our cardboard packers give you all the versatility you need.

Conveyors

Conveyors for hygienic and safe transporting​ of packages. Tetra Pak applies the same attention to detail in designing downstream equipment as we do to our filling machines. Conveyors are no exception. Their chains are built to minimise vibrations and prevent packages turning; large openings in the sides make cleaning and inspection easy.

Film wrappers

Looking for a shrink or stretch film wrapper? You can get both from Tetra Pak; flexible and fast. Film wrapping your carton packages gives you cost-effective product grouping & protection and then speeds up shelf replenishment for the retailer.

Straw applicators

U-shaped, telescopic or straight straws? The Tetra Pak® straw Applicator 30 can apply a vast range of straws to just about all of our portion packages and thanks to the technology used glue consumption is kept to a minimum.

Sustainable carton packages

We offer you the most attractive and complete carton packaging range for consuming food products. All our packages offer consumer convenience, easy opening, optimal shelf life and the ability to give your brand maximum exposure.

Our ambition is to deliver packages that contribute to a low-carbon circular economy that is packages made entirely from renewable and/or recycled materials that are fully recyclable, without ever compromising on food safety requirements.

Openings & closures

Openings and closures for Tetra Pak® carton packages. We offer a wide portfolio of openings and closures, different types to serve drink-from, pour-from or spoon-from needs.​ Choose from a simple perforation opening, to tear away tabs and lids, to one-step or two-step recloseable flipcaps or resealable screwcaps.

Tetra Pak® Connected Package

Paper straws

The Tetra Pak® paper straws represent a sustainable development part of a broader programme to help address the issue of plastic straw waste and littering. Today you can choose between a straight, a U-shaped and a telescopic paper straw variant, available for a variety of portion-sized beverage cartons, including Tetra Brik® Aseptic and Tetra Prisma® Aseptic packages.
