Tadbik’s Fresh Lid helps extend the shelf life of fresh produce
Supplier News

Did you know? Nearly 45% of fresh produce bought at the supermarket ends up in the trash.

Overbuying, poor storage, and most of all, expiration before consumption, turn our food into waste. But it’s not just about wasted money. Think of the water, energy, and labour poured into growing and transporting every fruit or veggie... all gone.

That’s why Tadbik developed Fresh Lid - our smart solution for keeping fresh produce fresher, longer.

Fresh Lid is a flexible, reclosable PET-based lid designed for fresh agricultural products. It helps extend shelf life and reduce waste with:

  • Anti-fog additives for crystal-clear visibility
  • Mechanical perforation, a precise technology that creates the perfect Controlled Atmosphere (CAP) inside the package, tailored for controlling the respiration rate of each fruit, leaf, or vegetable. It also balances the water vapour and moisture inside the packaging, to prevent drying or sogginess.

This smart packaging makes long-term storage possible without compromising freshness or quality.
