The company’s stand saw significant interest in its range of heat sealing solutions, particularly in its new HS55 linear automatic film and card heat sealer.

The Soken HS55 is capable of producing up to 2,800 sealed packs per hour, the highest volume produced across Soken’s range of heat sealing machines. This makes the model ideal for medium to large ready meal and convenience food producers. Offering maximum versatility in tooling options, the HS55 is suitable for ready meals, fresh foods, salad trays, convenience foods, sandwich packs and many other packaging types.

Soken’s new heat sealer offers consistent and reliable sealing with zero film waste during production, minimising environmental impact. Whilst the automatic and manual modes, and interchangeable tooling options, allow for full configuration and flexibility to suit production needs.

Gareth Davies, Director at Soken Engineering, said: We were thrilled with the response to the HS55 at Foodex. The show was a perfect platform to showcase the machine’s capabilities and connect with potential customers. We received positive feedback throughout the show, making it clear that the HS55 addresses a key need in the market for high-volume, sustainable packaging solutions.

Soken Engineering caters to a range of users, from SMEs and start-ups looking for bespoke packaging solutions to high-volume users requiring large-scale production heat sealers. The flexible but compact film and cardboard sealers, like the HS25FC, are perfect for those short on space. While the rapid action, twin head delivery sealing system like the HS60C, is made for manufacturers with large contracts. All expertly manufactured in the UK and designed to last.
