Responding to increasing consumer interest in eco-friendly packaging, Coca-Cola's smartwater introduces sleek 12-oz. aluminium cans.

The brand's new visual design aligns with environmental concerns while providing convenient hydration options for warmer seasons.

This shift to aluminium reflects a growing preference for non-plastic, sustainable packaging solutions. The elegant cans feature silver drop accents and distinct background colours for each variety, maintaining smartwater's signature aesthetic.

Initially available in single cans and 8-packs, smartwater original and smartwater alkaline with antioxidant cater to consumers across the United States.

This launch marks a significant milestone as the 'first vapour-distilled water offered in individual cans', meeting the demand for sustainable alternatives in the beverage industry.

Sadie Ellison, senior brand manager, smartwater, said: As the leading premium water brand, we have a responsibility to constantly iterate, improve and meet consumers where they are. Today, that means ensuring we’re in a package that fits shifting trends as we head into the spring and summer seasons of socialising.
