For the second consecutive year, CLUBZERØ and Barclays have partnered to minimise single-use waste within The Queue at the Wimbledon Championships.

Following their successful 2023 collaboration, where fans enjoyed juices in CLUBZERØ’s reusable cold cups, the partnership now introduces CLUBZERØ’s latest food container range.

As Wimbledon commenced on Monday, July 1st, Barclays customers were treated to strawberries and cream ice-cream in CLUBZERØ’s new packaging innovation, the 'Perfect Pot', in the bank’s Game, Seat, Match Area. These pots are designed to offer superior temperature tolerance, durability, and customer satisfaction, making them ideal for summer treats.

In addition to the 'Perfect Pots', CLUBZERØ is launching new Drop Point Boxes to facilitate easy returns of reusable packaging at large sporting events. Throughout the tournament, these containers will be collected and redistributed daily using Zedify’s emission-free electric vehicles, ensuring a sustainable process.

Safia Qureshi, Founder and CEO of CLUBZERØ, said: Our perfect pots are the newest addition to our returnable packaging range, following months of rigorous development with our customers and partners. It is critical to establish standards for returnable packaging and we are thrilled to be pioneering this through our continued work at the Championships, Wimbledon in partnership with Barclays.
