Lyte Packaging is proud to share that Project 7, a division of Lyte Manufacturing Group, has been shortlisted for the Environmental Packaging Awards 2025. The innovative sustainable trigger spray pouch, adopted by Sipcam Home & Garden ecofective® range, has been nominated in the Household Goods category.

Project 7, a division of Lyte Manufacturing Group has developed a sustainable trigger spray pouch, a transformative alternative to rigid plastic trigger bottles. This innovative, flexible packaging solution minimises environmental impact while enhancing consumer usability.

The pouch represents a major step forward in sustainable design, reducing plastic usage, encouraging reuse, and aligning with the UK’s 2027 flexible recycling goals.

Project 7 introduced the solution to Sipcam Home & Garden for their ecofective® range as an alternative to rigid plastic bottles. Enabling a smooth transition for consumers was essential to ensure effective adoption and realise the reduced material usage. The lightweight design alongside the single handed, thump pump trigger proved more convenient to consumers than rigid bottles.

We’re honoured by the recognition and look forward to joining the awards ceremony in June!
