A bottle worth revealing. A box worth keeping.

We recently partnered with West Midlands Distillery on the packaging for their inaugural whiskey release. With deep roots in the region and a passion for craft, the distillery wanted packaging that would match the artistry of their hand-painted bottles.

Rigid fan-opening bottle box

Our solution was a rigid fan-opening bottle box using a contrast of black and white papers and a combination of litho print, foiling and spot UV. The result creates a stunning reveal and a nod to local heritage with the fans printed using maps of the West Midlands.

Customised sleeve

Each of the five Whiskies has its own custom sleeve that is tailored, elegant and functional. A final touch from the team at West Midlands Distillery was to hand paint the sleeves to match the unique hand painted finish of the bottles, a signature feature of the distillery.

A box and bottle to be enjoyed

The final packaging is not just recyclable, but designed to be kept, repurposed and enjoyed, along with the delightful whisky inside.

Jordan from West Midlands Distillery commented: Working with Lyte Packaging has helped us bring our vision to life. Creating a packing solution that is as thoughtful, detailed and as quality driven as the bottle and whisky itself. We couldn’t be happier with the final result and the feedback from customers and retailers has been incredible.

A big thanks to the team at West Midlands Distillery for including us in their first chapter in whiskey.
