Paris Packaging Week and Packaging Innovations & Empack 2025

2025 kicked off to a flying start with exhibitions on either side of the channel. In January, we exhibited at our first Paris Packaging Week, shortly followed by the UK’s premier packaging event, Packaging Innovations and Empack in February.

With a combination of nearly 20,000 visitors at both shows, the exhibitions were the ideal venues to springboard our feature, ‘Smart Packaging’ that assists retailers and consumers alike. The stands themselves also underwent an elegant rebrand that reflected our position as a premium, sustainable packaging supplier.

What is ‘Smart Packaging’?

Smart packaging features built-in NFC and RFID technology, linking to product content including URLs, manuals and product videos, enhancing customer engagement. Alternatively, it can store individual serial and batch numbers ensuring seamless tracking and authentication.

By simply holding your phone to the packaging, the content appears without the need to open a camera as with QR codes.

Our smart packaging can be built into a removable sticker, allowing easy removal before recycling, ensuring sustainability while delivering cutting-edge, interactive packaging solutions for your products.

Bonjour la France!

We were excited to be at Paris Packaging week, one of the leading expos for luxury, beauty and premium packaging in the calendar. A hub for vendors and buyers across Europe, the vast hall was buzzing with suppliers of luxury packaging, perfume and drinks bottles, aerosols and more, alongside comprehensive speaker sessions from industry leaders on sustainability, design and industry trends.

Not only was this our first exhibition in France, but also the timing was perfect, coinciding with the opening of our warehousing facility in France, based near La Rochelle, strengthening our trade offering within Europe.

Innovating at Packaging Innovations and Empack

Our regular spot at the UK’s premier packaging show didn’t disappoint, with the stand again reflecting our new look for 2025. We were busy from the off with discussions on luxury advent calendars for brands from beauty to charcuterie, gifting items, bottle display boxes and foldable cartons to name a few.

We were the only stand to have smart packaging incorporated into our products which delighted visitors, opening numerous conversations.

We also featured pouches with our sister company Project7, forging many new relationships around pouch supply, filling and contract packing. We left both shows having already pre-booked our stands for next year. With such a great start to 2025 already we are excited for the rest of the year and working with our new connections from both shows.

Let’s make better packaging together!
