Supplier News

Jowat highlights the role of modern adhesives in enabling sustainable packaging processes at Interpack 2023.

As sustainability gains greater importance in the packaging industry, adhesive manufacturer Jowat showcases how modern adhesives can contribute to greener processes and products at Interpack 2023. With a comprehensive range of tailor-made adhesives and services, Jowat's Green Adhesives product line provides sustainable solutions for the packaging industry.

One key example is Jowat-Toptherm® 851.99, a low-temperature hot melt adhesive optimised for packaging processes that can be processed at energy-saving temperatures starting from 99°C, reducing energy consumption while maintaining high performance and quality. Another product, Jowatherm® GROW 853.20, offers an eco-friendly solution with a DIN-verified biobased raw material content of 33% and can be applied in different packaging processes at reduced temperatures starting from 120°C.

Both products feature clean string cut-off and are easy to process, reducing machine part and packaging material soiling while preventing unnecessary material consumption. Jowat's Green Adhesives showcase that sustainable bonding processes are not only possible but also economically viable.

Visitors can learn more about these products and Jowat's renowned advisory services at Interpack 2023 in hall 7 (booth A05).
