SynTiso – re:imagine aseptic filling

Pharma and biotech are booming sectors. Most new biologics drugs are provided in injectable format. Increasingly strict regulations aim to eliminate contamination risks in injectables. With SynTiso, Syntegon provides the solution to those challenges. Jointly developed with two Big Pharma companies, SynTiso removes the need for human interference with gloveless isolator technology and a fully robotized operation including a contactless container transport system. The benefits: benchmark-level regulatory compliance, up to 50 percent faster changeovers, and higher product output per batch. SynTiso is set to revolutionize the future of liquid pharmaceutical filling operations. The fill-finish platform is complemented by two closely related innovations: RackSter, the new mobile multirack containment system for aseptic batch changeovers, and a linear stopper sorting system.

RackSter and linear sorting: next steps in the (r)evolution

The patented RackSter eliminates the need for conventional RTP containers and ensures fully automated sterile parts transfer into the isolator, resulting in significantly shorter batch changeovers and docking times. This reduces contamination risk, minimizes manual handling, and increases both filling line availability and throughput. Thanks to the newly designed automated linear stopper sorting system, space requirements and operator intervention are further reduced. All sterile parts can be transferred into SynTiso by the innovation RackSter, saving pharmaceutical and biotech companies time while fully complying with Annex 1 requirements.
