Building on its portfolio of more sustainable product innovations, Amcor announced the commercial availability of a recycle-ready polypropylene (PP) premade dressing, condiment and sauce dip cup array to meet rapidly changing sustainability regulations and consumer demands.

Amcor has announced the commercial availability of PP Revolution™, a new portfolio of polypropylene (PP) recycle ready dip cup arrays and lidding solutions for condiments, dressings and sauces for foodservice. Amcor’s PP Revolution™ platform is designed to help brands transition from traditional polystyrene while maintaining performance, efficiency and consumer appeal.

PP Revolution™ is designed to help brands move forward as Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) requirements evolve. Our PP Revolution™ platform is a recycle‑ready solution that supports improved recyclability claims today and prepares our customers for the regulatory realities of tomorrow.

Sarah Paleg, sustainability director, Amcor Flexibles North America.

The more sustainable dip cup array and lidding solution delivers high performance and compatibility with existing filling equipment for a seamless transition. In addition, the dip cups have an improved barrier compared to traditional solutions and are available with Amcor’s comprehensive EZ Peel® lidding portfolio, including metallized, foil and AmPrima® recycle‑ready options. The arrays are available in 10 sizes, from 0.5 oz to 2.0 oz in clear, white opaque and custom colors.

Today’s consumers expect packaging that’s easy to use, locks in freshness and is aligned with their sustainability values. PP Revolution™ was designed to elevate the dip cup experience, from easy open lidding and portion appropriate sizes to premium aesthetics, while helping brands move forward with recycle ready packaging.

Kevin Glaser, vice president and general manager – liquid, Amcor Flexibles North America.

PP Revolution™ dip cup solutions are designed for recyclability, with select sizes rated “Preferred” under the APR Design® Guide for Size Sorting Potential. This evaluation can support stronger recyclability claims and potential EPR fee advantages, with How2Recycle® prequalification available for select sizes.

The PP Revolution™ solution expands Amcor’s portfolio of more sustainable film technologies, which includes the recycle-ready PET Revolution™ recycle ready barrier cup stock.

Amcor's innovations support the foodservice industry as it prepares for evolving regulatory requirements. We're ready to help customers begin testing and scale-up within as little as six weeks.

Aimee Johns, senior marketing manager – liquid, Amcor Flexibles North America.

This new product launch underscores the company’s commitment to leading the way to a more sustainable packaging future through material innovations, high quality products and access to packaging expertise to navigate changing regulations.
