Pizza Hut unveils box that doubles as a mini table
Business

Pizza Hut has recently introduced a unique pizza box that doubles as a mini table, offering a practical dining solution, particularly for those in the midst of moving.

According to Pizza Hut, nearly 87% of Americans have ordered pizza during a move, and 79% of them have eaten their pizza on the floor due to the lack of furniture. The new "Moving Box Table" aims to address this issue by providing a convenient and easy-to-assemble dining setup.

The Moving Box Table is designed with a red checkered corrugated structure that folds into a sturdy base, capable of supporting the pizza box as a tabletop. This allows movers to enjoy their pizza without having to sit on the floor after a long day of relocating. Setting up the table involves unfolding and assembling the structure, which can be done in just a few simple steps.

Pizza Hut's Chief Marketing Officer, Melissa Friebe, said: Many can relate to the chaos that comes with moving, and the last thing you want to worry about is unpacking to enjoy a hard-earned meal at the end of a long day. We love that pizza is a universal moving-day tradition for many, but we hate that it ends up eaten on the floor. This Moving Box Table will help us show up for Pizza Hut customers by providing not just a delicious pizza after a stressful moving day but somewhere easy and comfortable to enjoy it, too.

This limited-edition Moving Box Table is available at no additional cost with the purchase of a large menu-priced pizza. It is offered exclusively at select Pizza Hut locations in Dallas, Charlotte, and Orlando—three cities experiencing high levels of relocation. The offer is available via carryout orders only, starting from August 27, 2024, and will last while supplies last.
