Miller Lite has announced the release of 4,400 limited-edition commemorative cans to celebrate the Milwaukee Brewers winning their first World Series championship, with each can containing beer produced at the precise moment the American baseball team secured its historic victory.

The special-edition packaging, known as ‘Clinch Cans’, contains beer from a production batch being manufactured at Miller Lite’s Milwaukee brewery when the Brewers clinched the championship at 10:13 p.m. Central Time.

Located close to the team's ballpark, the brewery was producing thousands of cans at the time of the victory. Miller Lite subsequently identified the batch being processed during the final moments of the game and selected it for the commemorative release.

A total of 4,400 cans have been produced, with the quantity representing the 44 years referenced by the company as the period fans had waited for another opportunity to win a championship.

Each can features limited-edition Milwaukee Brewers packaging, combining the brewery's existing product with a design created specifically to mark the sporting occasion.

Brewers fans have waited a long time for this moment and we couldn't be more excited to celebrate with them. Miller Lite has been part of the Brewers family for decades, so leave it to them to toast our fans in a way that only they can. The Clinch Cans give our fans a little piece of the celebration to call their own.

Rick Schlesinger, President of Business Operations, Milwaukee Brewers.

The commemorative cans will be available through an online reservation system, with bookings opening on 2 November at noon Central Time. Reservations will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, with a limit of one can per eligible customer aged 21 or over.

Customers must reserve their cans in advance and collect them from the Miller Brewery Tour Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, during their selected collection period. Available dates are 15, 21 and 22 November, between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Central Time. Valid identification will be required.
