Corona Cero introduces seven-bottle pack inspired by days of the week
Business
A new seven-bottle packaging format has been developed for Corona Cero, the alcohol-free beer brand from AB InBev, with the concept designed to offer one bottle for each day of the week.
Created in collaboration with packaging manufacturer Smurfit Westrock and design agency JKR, the ‘7 Days, 7 Moments’ concept responds to growing consumer interest in alcohol-free beverages.

The packaging was developed through Smurfit Westrock's Design2Market process, which involved developing, prototyping and refining several concepts before selecting a design suitable for large-scale production and international distribution. The development process was completed within a matter of weeks.
The finished solution incorporates a paper-based consumer pack holding seven bottles, alongside corrugated transport packaging designed to protect the products during distribution.
The design received the Richard DePaul Award for Creative Converting & Design at the 2026 Paperboard Packaging Council (PPC) awards in Florida.
The introduction of the new format comes amid continued growth in the alcohol-free drinks market. According to figures cited in the announcement, approximately 61 million consumers entered the no-alcohol category across major beer and beverage markets between 2022 and 2024.
Research from IWSR also forecasts compound annual growth of 7% for alcohol-free beverages through 2028.
Following launches in Colombia and Argentina, the seven-bottle Corona Cero packaging format is being introduced into additional markets.
