Spectra Packaging is delighted to have collaborated with The Pawfume Shop to provide sustainable packaging solutions for their new Eco Range of pet shampoos.

The new packs take advantage of Spectra’s 250ml Tubular (Ref: 1002) and 100ml Slim Tubular (Ref: 1048) bottle designs, part of our extensive off-the-shelf portfolio.

A key feature of these bottles is their custom translucent colour, expertly matched to align with The Pawfume Shop’s branding. To complement their premium aesthetic, the packs are fitted with a choice of spray pumps or metallised disc tops, offering both style and functionality.

The range is Injection Stretch Blow Moulded in 100% Prevented Ocean Plastic (POP) PCR PET, a material that embodies Spectra’s commitment to sustainability. Prevented Ocean Plastic is made from plastic waste collected within 50km of coastlines at risk of ocean pollution. By utilising POP, Spectra helps to prevent this material from entering our oceans while giving it a second life in high-quality packaging. This aligns seamlessly with The Pawfume Shop’s ethos of protecting the planet and reducing their environmental footprint.

The Pawfume Shop’s Eco Range reflects founder Katie Rehm’s vision of offering luxurious products with minimal environmental impact. The decision to use POP PCR PET not only contributes to a cleaner environment but also highlights the brand’s dedication to creating products that resonate with eco-conscious consumers. This collaboration with Spectra ensures the packaging balances sustainability, functionality, and style, providing customers with a premium, planet-friendly option.

Dan Smith, New Business Manager at Spectra, who led the project, stated: We are proud to work with The Pawfume Shop on their Eco Range. By using 100% Prevented Ocean Plastic, we are helping to transform potential waste into a valuable resource, aligning with their sustainability goals and reinforcing Spectra’s dedication to tackling plastic pollution.

Katie Rehm, Founder of The Pawfume Shop, added: Choosing Spectra as our packaging partner was an easy decision. Their expertise in working with materials like Prevented Ocean Plastic made them the ideal choice to bring our vision to life. We are thrilled with the results and proud to offer our customers eco-friendly packaging that doesn’t compromise on quality or aesthetics.
