Spectra teams up with Clevelli Bay to create an eco-friendly spray solution
Supplier News

Spectra recently worked with Clevelli Bay to develop a sustainable packaging solution for their new eco-friendly cleaning products.

The new packs take advantage of Spectra’s 500ml Tall Boston Round design, one of more than 300 options from our extensive off-the-shelf portfolio. A key feature of the spray bottles is their translucent amber colour, expertly matched onsite. The packs were also decorated in-house at Spectra’s dedicated decoration facility, and feature a one-pass print and foil block to enhance the premium feel and reinforce Clevelli Bay’s brand identity.

The range is Injection Stretch Blow Moulded in 100% Prevented Ocean Plastic PCR PET. By utilising Prevented Ocean Plastic in all of its recycled packaging as a standard, Spectra helps to divert plastic that could otherwise end up in our oceans, thereby contributing to a cleaner environment. This coincides with Clevelli Bay’s strong sustainable ethos and values.

Clevelli Bay’s story revolves around founder Charlie Sefton’s mission to combine eco-consciousness with refined British design, inspired by Australia’s natural beauty. The brand aims to reduce plastic waste by using ocean-prevented plastic and refillable packaging in its premium home care products. With a commitment to sustainability, Clevelli Bay focuses on balancing aesthetics, practicality, and environmental impact to create high-quality items that promote eco-friendly lifestyles.

Dan Smith, New Business Manager at Spectra, who led the project, stated: Working with Clevelli Bay has been a rewarding experience. We are excited to provide them with an eco-friendly packaging solution that aligns with their commitment to sustainability.

Charlie Sefton, Founder at Clevelli Bay, says: Finding Spectra as my bottle partner was pivotal in bringing my vision to life. Their dedication to sustainability, especially through their Prevented Ocean Plastic partnership, aligned seamlessly with my goals. Dan and his team at Spectra offered invaluable support, despite my startup being in its early stages. The depth of their knowledge, the thorough guidance, and the positive experience I had working with Dan have all played a vital role in getting my business to where it is today. Thank you to the Spectra team—I look forward to our continued growth together.
