Supplier News

Autopack have successfully supplied and commissioned a fully integrated turnkey edible oil filling line for KTC Edibles, a leading supplier of edible oils in the UK.

Designed to handle both 0.5-litre and 1-litre containers at a rate of 7,200 bottles per hour, the line reflects Autopack’s commitment to efficiency, precision, and seamless automation.

At the heart of the installation is a high-performance flow meter filling and capping monobloc, delivering outstanding accuracy and repeatability for high-volume production. This system ensures precise fill volumes with minimal waste while maintaining excellent throughput and reliability.

The full scope of the project included:

• Air conveyor for smooth bottle infeed

• Flow meter filling and capping Monobloc for high-accuracy dosing and secure sealing

• Hot melt wrap-around labeller for consistent and durable product branding

• Carton erector for reliable case forming

• Robotic pick & place packer for precise and gentle product handling

• Carton sealer for secure and efficient case closure

• Robot palletiser and pallet wrapper for end-of-line automation and stability in transit

Integrating the line to the established SIDE blow moulder was effortless due to Autopack's superior knowledge from being SIDE's UK agent

Autopack’s single source approach delivered a complete turnkey solution, managing every aspect of the project from initial line design and layout planning within significant space constraints, through to buffer system integration, controls, delivery, installation, and final commissioning. The result is a high-performance production line tailored to meet KTC Edibles’ growing operational demands, with streamlined throughput and full automation from bottle infeed to palletised product.

Autopack and KTC joined forces in one of the biggest projects in KTC’s history. Suppling a monobloc filler and turnkey solution for 500ml and 1litre bottles of edible oils.

Niraj Dubey Project Engineer, KTC Group said: Having worked with Autopack over the last 10 years, the service has always been fantastic, providing great installations, excellent level of support, flexible service, and reliable solutions.

We found the level of technical knowledge and expertise made the process seamless and could not fault the service received by Jack – Northern Regional Manager.
