Easyfairs UK, the organisers of record-breaking London Packaging Week, will now offer full access to its comprehensive 2024 conference agenda free of charge. This decision aims to break down barriers to knowledge-sharing and ensure that professionals from all packaging industry sectors, from large corporations to small startups, can engage in crucial conversations about the future of packaging.

London Packaging Week has fast become a melting pot of ideas, offering a dynamic platform for industry leaders, innovators, and thought leaders to come together, share insights, and work towards collective solutions. By providing free access to its entire conference agenda, the organisers hope to create an inclusive environment where all voices in the packaging industry can be heard, encouraging the industry to engage with new concepts, share knowledge, and solve some of the industry's common problems.

“Our decision to make the entire conference agenda available for free is driven by the recognition that we all face similar challenges in the packaging industry,” said James Montero MacColl, Senior Marketing Manager at Easyfairs UK. “The complexities of sustainability, waste reduction, and technological advancements are global challenges that require collective solutions. By ensuring more people have access to the critical conversations at London Packaging Week, we are creating an environment where collaboration becomes the key to overcoming these challenges.”

The organisers have made over 17 hours of free content available, spread across multiple stages, including the Food & Consumer Pack Stage, the Luxury Stage, and the Beauty & Drinks Stage, each offering unique insights tailored to specific sectors.

The Food & Consumer Pack Stage features leading experts from organisations like WRAP, Brompton Bicycle, Sun Branding, Twinings, R-PAC International, OPRL and Nestlé, among others. These sessions explore waste reduction, resource-efficient packaging, and smart packaging solutions. Discussions delve into the role of packaging in improving consumer experiences while promoting sustainability, explore how businesses can reduce food waste and emissions, harness the power of design to influence consumer behaviour, and integrate smart technologies into their packaging strategies.

In addition to the Food & Consumer Pack Stage, the Luxury Stage focuses on the evolving world of luxury packaging. This stage will feature sessions involving leading brands like Diageo, Vacheron Constantin, and The National Gallery, DCA Design International, Pentawards, and the jury behind the inaugural London Packaging Week Innovation Awards who will discuss how creativity and sustainability can transform luxury packaging. Topics will cover the psychology behind consumer decisions and the latest trends in luxury packaging design. Attendees will also have the chance to hear from industry leaders about the most innovative packaging solutions and trends shaping the future of luxury packaging.

The Beauty & Drinks Stage will highlight the intersection of packaging innovation, sustainability, and design within the beauty and beverage industries. Experts from brands like The Wine Society, Seabody, Isle of Wight Distillery, Positive Luxury, and others will offer valuable insights on how packaging can enhance the customer experience and promote sustainability. The sessions explore how materials like metal can be used to improve packaging sustainability and how certifications like the Connected Butterfly Mark are revolutionising consumer engagement with sustainability.

In addition to free access to over 17 hours of content, visitors can also take advantage of complimentary visitor passes to attend London Packaging Week and other Easyfairs UK packaging shows, such as the upcoming Packaging Innovations & Empack 2025. Visitors to Birmingham’s NEC on 12 & 13 February 2025 can benefit firsthand from the rich program of sessions, networking opportunities, and innovative packaging projects on show at the event. Complimentary visitor passes further enhance the event's accessibility, ensuring everyone has an equal opportunity to participate in the conversations and innovations shaping the future of packaging.
