Spectra supports Grangers Sustainable Journey

Supplier News

At Spectra Packaging, we are proud to have played our part in Grangers’ journey toward sustainability and environmental responsibility.

As Grangers trusted packaging partner, we have been providing sustainable packaging solutions which supports their recent partnership with the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI).

As the RNLI’s official Aftercare Partner, Grangers provides crucial cleaning and reproofing solutions to extend the life of RNLI volunteer crews’ clothing and equipment.

Spectra has manufactured a wide range of 50% and 100% Prevented Ocean Plastic (POP) recycled bottles and caps to support this mission. The Aftercare initiative not only supports volunteers but also underscores Grangers’ commitment to reducing environmental impact through their eco-friendly products.

The range consists of a variety of Tubulars, Boston Rounds and Oval packs from Spectra’s standard range with many coupled with shallow caps and flip top caps also from Spectra’s standard range.

Grangers has been at the forefront of producing environmentally conscious aftercare products that protect outdoor enthusiasts for over 80 years. Their pioneering steps toward sustainability were rewarded with the bluesign approval* back in 2007. This aligns perfectly with Spectra’s mission to provide packaging solutions that are both high-quality and sustainable.

Rebecca Woods, Customer Services Representative at Spectra Packaging, says: At Spectra Packaging, we are honoured to support Grangers’ efforts in this important mission. By using Prevented Ocean Plastic materials in their packaging, we are collectively contributing to a cleaner ocean and a more sustainable future for all.

Together, with a shared vision and dedication, we continue to innovate and inspire others to act to protect the environment while supporting life-saving causes such as the RNLI.
