Supplier News

Lantech, manufacturer of end-of-line packaging machines, will be exhibiting automated case packing solutions at IBA (Düsseldorf, GER, May 18-22, Hall 9 Stand A33).

Lantech's automated packaging systems are trusted by companies worldwide, enabling them to increase output, eliminate downtime and reduce labour costs. At IBA Düsseldorf, the manufacturer will demonstrate a case handling machine that is predestined for efficient packaging and shipping of bakery and confectionery products.

Efficiency with rectangular cases

The C1000 case erector produces up to 30 cases per minute with flexible dimensions ranging from 200 x 150x 150 mm to 500 x 325 x 520 mm. Users reliably receive right-angled shipping cartons that provide maximum stability and are ideal for transportation.

The C1000 carton erector maintains the 90-degree angle regardless of the nature of the corrugated board, changing temperatures and humidity levels, and varying blank dimensions. The blank is controlled from the moment it enters the magazine until it is discharged as a finished case with a closed bottom. Depending on the customer's preference, the case bottom is sealed with hot melt or tape.

From scones to baguettes

The C1000 is part of a range of modular case erectors, the largest standard model being up to 800x600x835mm. Inline case erectors and tray & lid formers are also part of the Lantech range, with machines capable of handling both hot and cold or freezing temperatures without interruption. The recently introduced Parcelpack produces letterbox sized trays for mailing biscuits, cakes, chocolates or any other product that will fit through a letterbox.
