Lantech’s Random Case Sealer on display at Logistica Next

End-of-line packaging machinery manufacturer Lantech offers a range of innovative packaging systems designed to provide the logistics and e-commerce sectors with fast, flexible packaging machines, that set new standards in warehouse logistics and optimise the dispatch of goods.

High-Speed Random Case Sealer

With a maximum capacity of 1,320 cases per hour, the CS-1000 High-Speed Random Case Sealer can seal boxes of multiple sizes in random order. The sealer can automatically adjust based on an upstream signal or a measurement taken in the first section of the machine. An upstream signal ensures that the machine automatically adjusts to the next incoming case. The machine can also be fitted with sensors or light curtains to measure the height and width of the case as it enters the machine. It then adjusts fully automatically to seal the case. The machine is ideal for use in packaging environments where multiple packaging lines handling a wide variety of case sizes converge the flow of goods at the output end for centralised processing by a single case sealer.

CS1000 Random Case Sealer

Operating at a slower speed but with no loss of accuracy, the CS1000 Random Case Sealer will demonstrate the random sealing principle at Logistica Next. Visitors can see live how cases of different sizes are measured and sealed using a single machine. Cases can only be sealed correctly if they are first expertly formed at right angles, and this is ensured by Lantech’s modular case erectors. These produce up to 1,800 cases per hour with flexible dimensions ranging from 200 x 150 x 150 mm to 800 x 600 x 635 mm. At the trade show, the C1000 case erector will be demonstrated, along with the Parcelpack Tray & Lid combination for letterbox parcels.
