Lantech brings the future of smart end of line packaging to interpack 2
Supplier News

With manufacturers worldwide racing to build smarter, more resilient production lines, Lantech provides the answer to the industry's most urgent question: what is truly intelligent end-of-line packaging?

At interpack, Hall 13, Stand C47, the company will be showcasing live demonstrations of stretch wrapping, case handling and tray and lid solutions which not only automate individual tasks, but also communicate, adapt and integrate across the entire production floor. This vision of packaging operations reduces downtime, eliminates film waste, and connects seamlessly with autonomous mobile robots and smart factory infrastructure.

The intelligence behind the machines

Beyond individual machine performance, interpack marks Lantech's global introduction of its AMR integration capability for stretch wrapping. This integration goes well beyond simple pallet handover. In its most advanced configuration, an autonomous mobile robot delivers the pallet to the wrapper, positions it precisely for the wrapping cycle and carries it directly to the next stage of the process, thus replacing fixed conveyor infrastructure entirely. This makes the packaging line fluid, reconfigurable and fully coordinated, with no human involvement.

Lantech developed a unique system to automatically fill the case erector magazine. The blanks are picked and placed in the magazine independently of their formation. The straps are removed. There are no specific pallet requirements and no human interaction. Lantech will also demonstrate LINC®, its IoT-based operational intelligence platform which provides operators real-time visibility into machine data and performance from anywhere. By surfacing actionable insights across uptime, productivity, quality, and cost, LINC® allows teams to react to issues before they become problems — keeping lines running and eliminating the unplanned downtime that disrupts even the best-planned operations.

Together, these technologies embody the interpack 2026 Smart Manufacturing theme: packaging lines that don't just run, but think.
