With 26 large bakeries in 27 countries, including 12 in Europe, and around 8,000 employees worldwide, ARYZTA is one of the largest bakery companies in the world and the European market leader for frozen bakery products. ARYZTA currently produces more than 500 different bakery products in Germany, ranging from traditional baked goods to bakery snacks.

ARYZTA Germany is divided into Aryzta Bakeries GmbH and Aryzta Food Solutions GmbH. Aryzta Bakeries is the production company with sites in Eisleben, Nordhausen and Gerolzhofen, where high-quality baked goods are produced on state-of-the-art equipment. With five plants and 23 production lines, the Eisleben site is the largest and one of the most modern bakeries in Europe.

Lantech packaging machines were already in use in Eisleben, but when a 15-year-old installation, from another supplier, needed to be replaced, the direct contact was made.

Project manager Mr Thomas Müller explains: The Lantech machines had a well-known and proven quality. The challenge with this line was not only the limited space or integration into the existing line, but also the machine height itself, as the installation took place under a platform. Lantech's on-site survey and problem solving were particularly noteworthy. The installation went smoothly, with one day each for the C1000 case erector and the CS1000 case sealer, and perfect integration with the transfer heights.

As ARYZTA is committed to continuous improvement, the Lantech machines are gradually being requested and installed. Two other packaging lines are to be further automated this year. According to Thomas Müller, Lantech continues to be the preferred case erector and case sealer and is looking forward to further cooperation.
