Faller Packaging: sustainable packaging solutions at Pharmapack in Paris

Faller Packaging sustainable packaging solutions at Pharmapack in Paris 3
Supplier News

The Pharmapack in Paris (21-22 January 2026) is the leading trade fair for pharmaceutical packaging, drug delivery and medtech. It is an ideal stage for Faller Packaging, the specialist company for sustainable packaging solutions, to present a combination of folding carton and leaflet that reduces process costs and material usage.

A folding carton combined with a leaflet: Faller Packaging will be exhibiting the Combi Pack at Pharmapack Europe in Paris at Stand 4G54 in Hall 4.0. With the Combi Pack, the package insert is automatically glued into the folding carton using hot glue. This reduces the effort in the packaging process since feeding technology and separate feeders are no longer needed. Setup times, downtimes and inspection effort are also reduced, as the user only has to check and store one product instead of two components. The folding carton can be integrated into existing production lines without major modifications and is available in three versions – Basic, Comfort and Excellence. Users now have a reliable, safe solution that reduces process costs and material usage. The combined system also offers added value thanks to easy and convenient handling.

Moulded Fibre Tray as an alternative to plastic

A fibre-based tray proves that sustainability and functionality can be perfectly combined in pharmaceutical packaging. This alternative to plastic and aluminium consists of a lightweight, stable and recyclable fibre. The advantage? Existing plastic trays can be replaced with an almost identical, sustainable alternative – and monomaterials further improve sortability during the recycling process. The focus here is on a high level of material efficiency with simultaneous product protection. For applications with sensitive active ingredients or electronic components, Faller Packaging offers structured inserts and combined solutions.

Individual and pre-assembled packaging

More Faller Packaging products showcased at Pharmapack will be the company’s special designs and the PrePackaging Service. Standard folding cartons are often insufficient, especially for injection systems such as auto-injectors, pens and complex kits with vials and accessories. To master these challenges, Faller Packaging develops individual solutions that meet user-specific requirements and can be smoothly integrated into existing processes. Faller Packaging’s PrePackaging Service creates pre-assembled packaging solutions that are precisely tailored to the respective product – including industry-specific materials and shapes. The specialist company supports customers from phase 3 of clinical trials onwards, supplying them with ready-to-use packaging for vials, syringes and devices. Small quantities that are initially produced can subsequently be automatically transferred to large-scale production without the need for any additional conversions. This makes market entry faster and more secure.

Tamper-proof and custom-made

Labels and leaflets will also be showcased at Faller Packaging’s trade fair stand. The company collaborates closely with its customers who require these products, resulting in individual solutions such as patient-specific information and tamper-evident labels in accordance with EN 16679:2014. Sustainability plays a key role once again: material and backing use is reduced, designs are made recyclable from the outset and fibre-based alternatives are used. When it comes to leaflets, Faller Packaging uses modern digital printing technology that makes small batches economical, shortens lead times and speeds up market entry.
