Allpack, a leading provider of innovative packaging solutions, is pleased to announce the successful installation of more Jungheinrich Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) trucks. This investment is a strategic move that further enhances Allpack's operational efficiency, underscoring its commitment to excellence and solidifying their position as a leader in the packaging sector.

The additional resource is a testament to Allpack's unwavering dedication to optimising and enhancing its warehouse operations. The state-of-the-art Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) trucks are known for their precision and versatility in navigating narrow aisles, making them an invaluable asset for Allpack's materials handling and storage requirements in a busy warehouse.

By expanding its fleet of Jungheinrich VNA trucks by a further 50%, Allpack is set to further increase its fulfilment capacities, not only by reducing the risk of costly vehicle downtime but allowing the order and dispatch processes to be enhanced, through an increase in the speed of order picking and truck loading, increasing the overall operational productivity of the warehouse. The investment aligns with the company's ongoing commitment to providing its customers with top-quality products and services efficiently and effectively.

Operational Director, Bob Clarke expressed enthusiasm for this recent addition, explaining: Bringing in an additional Jungheinrich VNA truck into our operations is a testament to our commitment to delivering excellence in everything we do. This investment will enable us to meet the growing demands of our customers with enhanced precision and efficiency, ensuring our continued high levels of OTIF (On Time In Full) are not just maintained, but surpassed. We specified Jungheinrich VNA trucks based on their excellent reputation for reliability, coupled with state-of-the-art safety features, intelligent lightweight construction and maintenance-free synchronous reluctance motors. These features give us a fleet of trucks that provides first-class performance and outstanding efficiency for our warehousing operations. The driver and forklift work according to the man-up principle, where the driver's platform and forks are always at the same level. Their implementation aligns with our dedication to sustainability and environmental responsibility, contributing to a reduced carbon footprint.

The expansion of the warehouse fleet, allows the company to address the evolving customer needs and market demands, ensuring that their commitment to exceptional service and product quality remains steadfast.

Spencer Goss, Director of Projects for Jungheinrich UK said: Our latest generation VNA trucks are helping organisations like Allpack tackle the major challenges of warehouse operation (space utilisation, cost and sustainability) head-on. Our lithium-ion VNA stackers deliver peerless reliability, energy savings and extended runtimes thanks to shorter charge times and the ability to spot charge. For 24/7 operations, they really have proved to be a game-changer operationally as well as environmentally. We are delighted that, having put Jungheinrich’s VNA trucks to the test, Allpack has chosen to further bolster its fleet.
