interpack has announced that its next edition will take place from 10–15 June 2029, introducing both a new early summer date and a revised six-day format.

The international processing and packaging exhibition will now run from Sunday to Friday, a change organisers say is intended to improve efficiency for exhibitors and visitors while maintaining opportunities for international networking and business development.

According to interpack, the revised schedule follows discussions with exhibitors, the interpack Advisory Board and international industry associations. The changes reflect industry feedback calling for a more compact event that allows attendees to make more targeted use of their time while maintaining the event’s global reach.

interpack is the most important platform in its sector. Building on this position, we are consistently developing the event further. We listen carefully to what exhibitors and visitors need and are creating a format that will support their success at the trade fair even more effectively. This is the first visible sign of that. Further innovations will follow.

Thomas Dohse, Director of interpack, commenting on the plans for 2029.

The move to an early summer slot is also expected to enhance the visitor experience across the exhibition grounds, with organisers highlighting the use of outdoor areas and networking spaces alongside the activities taking place within the exhibition halls.

interpack said the revised format is part of its ongoing commitment to adapting the event in line with the evolving needs of the processing and packaging industry, while continuing to provide a platform for innovation, business development and international collaboration.
