ASDA is launching its first range of wine cans, 'Pica Pica,' featuring six new varieties of canned wines.

The Pica Pica range includes two white wines, two rosé wines, and two sparkling wines, all priced at £2.50 each for a 250ml can (£7.50/75cl). This pricing provides significant value compared to other market alternatives and is equivalent to ordering a large glass of wine from a bar or pub. They also offer a cost-effective way for consumers to try new wines without committing to a full bottle.

In addition to the wines, the Pica Pica range will include two canned wine cocktails, available from 17th June, priced at £2.00 each. These cocktails aim to compete with more expensive options on the market.

Commenting on the new range, Asda’s Wine Buyer, Stephanie Fleming, says: As always, we’re committed to delivering premium, trend-led products at fantastic prices. Asda’s new Pica Pica wine can range is ideal for those looking to enjoy high-quality wine ‘on-the-go’ or try new wines - we don’t doubt the cans will become a customer favourite this summer, especially with rumours of a summer heatwave on the horizon!

ASDA’s Pica Pica sparkling, white, and rosé wine cans are now available in-store and online, including at Asda Express stores, with the Pica Pica wine cocktail cans launching in mid-June.
