The Aluminium Packaging Recycling Organisation

Alupro, a not-for-profit organisation funded by the industry and with over three decades of experience, represents the UK's aluminium packaging industry.

Alupro's main objective is to surpass recycling targets for aluminium packaging by developing and encouraging the UK's collection infrastructure. Alupro works in collaboration with local authorities, the waste management industry, and the wider metal packaging sector, while also managing consumer education campaigns to promote participation in recycling schemes.

As the industry's voice, Alupro liaises with the government and legislature to represent its members and provide advice and support on various issues. Its expertise in the aluminium recycling sector, along with its comprehension of domestic and European policy, makes Alupro well-equipped to serve its members.

Membership represents the full spectrum of the aluminium packaging loop, allowing Alupro to represent the industry to policy makers and opinion formers in both the UK and Europe.

  • Packaging Converters – beverage can makers and foil converters
