TIPA – How compostable packaging biodegrades

When placed in compost conditions, the bag first breaks apart into very small pieces. These small pieces are digested by microorganisms that live in compost piles.

Microorganisms convert these small pieces into H2O, CO2 and organic biomass. Then, we get healthy compost.
