In Afag technology, counter-vibration mass compensates vibration of the drive. Residual vibrations are thus already compensated for in the drive. Afag utilise highly accurate, reproducible drive connections on the substructure since its resulting connection of the drives to the substructure is performed without rubber buffers. Afag offer its patented feeding technology with standardised Chrome Line accessories, and it will also be happy to design custom drives to meet your individual needs.
Linear axes, rotary axes, rotary modules and grippers with optional electric or pneumatic drives – all of these (and more) are solutions for automated processes that the handling technology segment of Afag offers. When they are combined with each other, the different modules form the basis of a standardised pick-and-place handling system. Afag offers more than 20 standardised handling systems that you can configure online. It will then optimise it and deliver your system as a Plug and Play solution.
The Afag Linear Transfer System, or LTS is a transfer system suitable for all common assembly and joining work as well as for any type of machining from above or below. Expanding the system with automated stations is easy – both along the longitudinal and transverse tracks. If necessary, cycle-independent workstations can also be added to the linear conveyor system. The Linear Transfer System from Afag also allows work steps critical to the cycle times to be carried out on parallel tracks or different levels. The individual machining of the workpieces on the workpiece carriers by means of direction changes and lifting elements is also possible.
Based on a modular system with different standardised individual components, the Linear Transfer System offers a high design flexibility. Because it can be optimally adapted to the conditions and the requirements of your plant, it is a workpiece carrier system that allows you to design practically any plant configuration for your assembly work.
