Jack Daniel’s has announced the release of a limited-edition Tennessee whiskey developed in collaboration with the McLaren Mastercard Formula 1 Team, featuring design-led packaging influenced by motorsport materials and engineering.

The product, named Halo MK1 Tennessee Whiskey, is described by the company as its most premium and restricted global release to date, with a suggested retail price of $599.99 (USD). It is being made available in selected international markets in limited quantities.

The packaging design, brought to life by award-winning packaging supplier Hunter Luxury, draws on the HALO safety structure used in McLaren’s Formula 1 cars, which has been reinterpreted to form the outer casing of the bottle. The presentation includes a glass bottle fitted with a hand-finished cork and decorative medallions. Materials used in the pack include alloy metal, micro-suede and carbon fibre-style finishes, reflecting those commonly associated with Formula 1 vehicle construction.

According to Jack Daniel’s Master Distiller Chris Fletcher, the whiskey is characterised by aromas of maple, fruit and toasted oak. The flavour profile is described as opening with notes of caramel and chocolate, followed by tobacco and baking spices, with a finish featuring lingering spice and brown sugar notes.

Jack Daniel’s Halo MK1 is a great expression of what our partnership represents, precision, craftsmanship and a shared respect for heritage. By drawing inspiration from our racing innovation, and honouring the legacy of Bruce McLaren, this release brings together McLaren’s racing DNA and Jack Daniel’s whiskey making tradition in a way that feels both authentic and truly collectible.

Louise McEwen, Chief Marketing Officer, McLaren Racing.

The Halo MK1 release is offered in a 1L format and is available for purchase online via the brand’s official channels, while stocks remain available.
