Spectra Packaging is thrilled to announce its first-ever Apprenticeship Open Evenings, taking place on the 18th and 20th of February 2025 between 5-7pm.

Aspiring engineers and manufacturers, along with their families, are invited to explore the dynamic world of manufacturing and discover the life-changing opportunities offered through Spectra’s apprenticeship programmes.

Located at the company’s purpose-built factory in Halesworth, this free event offers an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at one of the UK’s leading independent packaging manufacturers. Visitors will be taken on guided tours of the factory and, more specifically, the engineering departments, allowing them to witness first hand the innovative technologies, processes, and staff that continue to drive Spectra’s success.

Whether you’re a school leaver looking for a first step into the working world or an individual seeking a career change, Spectra’s apprenticeships offer a gateway to learning, growth, and professional development. Attendees will hear from current apprentices and seasoned professionals about their experiences and the exciting projects they work on every day.

The evenings will feature:

  • Guided tours of Spectra’s facilities, offering an up-close view of cutting-edge machinery and operations.
  • Opportunities to speak directly with team members and apprentices.
  • Informative sessions on the hands-on training and support apprentices receive.
  • Insight into the success stories of former apprentices who have built thriving careers at Spectra.
  • Refreshments and networking opportunities for attendees to connect with staff.

Each evening will run in two time slots, from 5:00–6:00 pm and 6:00–7:00 pm, providing flexibility for attendees.
