Supplier News

We look forward to returning to London Packaging Week to showcase our latest developments in responsible packaging.

We’ll be highlighting our continued commitment to helping brands reduce their environmental impact without compromising performance or shelf appeal.

Visitors to our stand will have the opportunity to explore a range of packaging solutions designed to support circularity, increase recycled content and prepare brands for evolving legislative requirements.

The exhibition comes at a time when sustainability remains a key focus across the packaging industry, with increasing attention on recyclability, recycled content and EPR RAM and PPWR requirements.

Driving progress through innovation

For many years, Spectra has invested heavily in initiatives designed to increase the use of recycled materials across its packaging portfolio.

From the introduction of PCR10 in 2018 and PCR35 in 2021 through to the adoption of Prevented Ocean Plastic (POP) across its recycled PET, HDPE and PP supply chains, the company has consistently sought opportunities to move beyond minimum legislative requirements and provide customers with practical, commercially viable solutions.

Today, all of Spectra’s standard products contain recycled content as standard, helping customers reduce their reliance on virgin plastic whilst maintaining the quality, consistency and performance expected from premium packaging.

Looking ahead

London Packaging Week will provide an opportunity for visitors to learn more about Spectra’s future sustainability direction, including developments designed to further increase recycled content and support circular packaging design.

The company will also showcase a selection of new packaging formats and product innovations, including recently developed PET jar solutions manufactured using 55% PCR content from a Prevented Ocean Plastic source.

These new additions demonstrate how recycled materials and recyclability can be incorporated into attractive, commercially successful packaging formats without compromising aesthetics or functionality.

Additionally, Spectra will premier new PET off-the-shelf product additions, including their distinctive new curved-base Rotondo designs in 500ml and 250ml capacities, their new angled-shoulder Veral Rounds in 300ml and 250ml, and a new 400ml Standard Boston Round in HDPE.

Supporting customers through change

As brands continue to navigate changing legislation and growing consumer expectations, Spectra believes collaboration and innovation will play a critical role in delivering meaningful environmental progress.

The packaging industry is evolving rapidly and our customers are looking for solutions that help them meet both their sustainability objectives and their commercial goals. London Packaging Week provides an excellent opportunity to discuss the challenges brands are facing and demonstrate how innovation, recycled content and thoughtful design can work together to deliver practical packaging solutions for the future.

Visitors can meet the Spectra team at Stand E42 throughout the exhibition to discuss upcoming projects, sustainability objectives and the latest developments across the company’s packaging portfolio. London Packaging Week runs on 16th and 17th September at London ExCel.
