Supplier News

Postpack UK has successfully installed the Aopack BM1800-Mini corrugated box making machine, further strengthening its capabilities in short-run bespoke corrugated packaging production.

The installation was completed through GTS Europe Ltd, Aopack’s sales partner in the United Kingdom. The investment supports Postpack’s growing demand for fast-turnaround custom packaging, box sample making, and low-volume corrugated box production.

As the packaging industry increasingly shifts toward on-demand manufacturing and customized packaging solutions, traditional die-cut production methods continue to face limitations in flexibility, tooling costs, and lead times.

Before installing the BM1800-Mini, Postpack experienced common challenges faced by many bespoke packaging manufacturers. Large-format die tooling often required significant upfront costs, while storing and handling physical dies created additional operational burdens. In addition, outsourcing sample production increased lead times and reduced manufacturing flexibility.

To solve these challenges, Postpack selected the Aopack BM1800-Mini digital box making machine.

Aopack BM1800-Mini for short run box production

The Aopack BM1800-Mini is specifically designed for short-run corrugated box manufacturing, box sample making, and customized packaging applications.

Unlike traditional die-cutting systems, the BM1800-Mini operates without physical tooling. Equipped with vibrating cutting knives and an inline gluing system, the machine can produce complex box styles, curves, slots, interlocks, and bespoke packaging structures directly from digital files.

This digital production workflow allows packaging companies to significantly reduce setup time while improving production flexibility and response speed.

Key advantages of the BM1800-Mini include:

  • No die cutting tooling required
  • Lower production costs for small orders
  • Fast box sample making
  • Flexible short-run production
  • High precision cutting performance
  • Reduced outsourcing dependency
  • Faster turnaround for custom packaging orders

Supporting on-demand packaging manufacturing

Postpack already operates advanced packaging systems supplied by GTS Europe, including a Aopack BM2508 box making machine and Solarco equipment. The addition of the BM1800-Mini further expands their ability to process highly customized corrugated packaging orders efficiently.

According to Postpack, the ability to create bespoke corrugated box designs without tooling delays represents a major operational advantage in today’s competitive packaging market.

The BM1800-Mini enables packaging manufacturers to move directly from design to production, making it ideal for rapid prototyping, box sample production, and low-volume customized packaging manufacturing.

Digital corrugated packaging solutions from Aopack

Aopack continues to provide intelligent corrugated box making solutions for packaging manufacturers worldwide.

With increasing demand for customized corrugated packaging, short-run production, and fast delivery, digital box making technology is becoming an important solution for modern packaging factories.

The successful installation at Postpack UK demonstrates how the Aopack BM1800-Mini helps packaging companies improve efficiency, reduce tooling costs, and increase production flexibility.
