Nissha launches new brand for metallized paper and board

Nissha Co., Ltd. (Nissha) newly adds "ecosense packaging," a brand for metallized paper and board into the lineup of "Nissha ecosense," the integrated brand for its range of sustainable material products provided by the Industrial Materials Business Unit.
Nissha will exhibit "ecosense packaging" at FACPACK 2022, the European trade fair for packaging, technology and processing held in this September.
Metallized paper is specialty paper with a metallic layer vacuum deposited on the surface. Our products are packaging material which does not use petroleum-based plastic film and is recyclable as mono-material (paper). Nissha Metallizing Solutions, a Nissha Company, produces and supplies the metallized paper and board.
Under "ecosense packaging" brand, we offer METIVO®, metallized paper and board for the food packaging and wrapping with barrier functions such as moisture proof, and Packle®, luxury looks metallized paper and board for consumer goods packaging.
Mono-material, Paper Based and Recyclable Metallized Paper and Board
"Nissha ecosense" is an expression of Nissha's stance towards contributing to the solving of social issues through flexible imagination and technologies, based on an accurate grasp of social needs as we move towards a decarbonized society. Nissha established Nissha ecosense as the integrated brand for its range of sustainable material products in November 2021 and has offered ecosense molding, sustainable molded products made mainly from plant base materials. We will also promote the Nissha ecosense brand in the Group's initiatives in the environmental field in addition to other environmentally-friendly products.
