Domino is thrilled to introduce the new Vx1 50i thermal transfer printer (TTO), specifically designed to enhance efficiency in both vertical and horizontal flow wrappers for food packaging lines and various industrial applications.

Developed in close collaboration with experienced TTO printer users and flexible packaging experts, the Vx1 50i addresses common challenges such as downtime caused by complex ribbon drive technologies and excessive costs due to inefficient ribbon usage. Through rigorous customer testing, the printer has been refined to deliver optimal performance.

One of the test customers, the renowned tofu manufacturer and contract packer for leading Korean food brands, Woochun Foods Company, expressed utmost satisfaction with the Vx1 50i printer. In fact, they were so impressed that they became the first customer to place an order for the thermal transfer printer even before its official launch date.

The Vx series features the Vx1 50i TTO-Printer, delivering high-resolution and machine-readable codes, text, and graphics to flexible packaging materials. With industry-leading print speeds of up to six prints per second, a maximum print size of 53 x 100 mm, and a resolution of 300 dpi, it offers exceptional performance.

The printer is designed to optimise ribbon usage, reducing consumption by up to 60% per print. It offers four ribbon saving modes to cater to various applications, minimising waste and overall printing costs. Its extended ribbon roll capacity enables longer production runs, while the lightweight, cartridge-based ribbon loading system allows for swift ribbon changes, reducing downtime.

Moreover, the Vx1 50i operates solely on electricity, eliminating the need for compressed air. This not only enhances energy efficiency but also reduces operating costs. Manufacturers can also benefit from additional service packages for serialisation, advanced security labelling, and promotional coding.

We participated in advanced testing related to the Vx150i and were amazed by the printer's performance. The Vx150i TTO printer is very easy to use and delivered consistent, high quality prints, even when using the ribbon saver mode – Woochun Foods Company
