The recognition highlights years of innovative, challenging work of colleagues from the Pharma Division, who collaborated determinedly to solve a challenge many pharmaceutical companies are facing today: how to improve the recyclability of packaging without compromising product protection, safety, or performance.

PERPETUA ALTA was developed with exactly this challenge in mind. It is a high chemical resistant mono PP laminate designed for demanding pharmaceutical applications such as sachets, stick packs, and flow packs. Thanks to its patented technology and carefully selected materials, it offers the performance needed for aggressive filling goods such as liquids, gels, and pastes while supporting future packaging requirements.

What makes PERPETUA ALTA stand out is that it combines high barrier properties with proven recyclability.

Dr. Roberto Martin, Head of PEC Laminates.

Dr. Martin explained that this is the first mono PP laminate certified as Class B by RecyClass and awarded a Letter of Compatibility. At the same time, it can be processed on existing packaging lines, helping customers evaluate new packaging options without major operational changes.

For the team behind PERPETUA ALTA, this nomination is not only a recognition of a product but also a recognition of the expertise, creativity, and persistence that made it possible.

We are honoured to be part of this year's finalist group and wish everyone involved the best of luck to bring the trophy home.
