Autopack: A commitment to customer support in packaging automation projects is non-negotiable

Autopack A commitment to customer support in packaging automation projects

Why is after-sales support important?

Automated packaging projects – big or small – start with a brief. It provides a deep understanding of what needs to be achieved, picking the right technology for the right application and putting it all together. Choosing best-in-class packaging equipment and watching the project take shape is satisfying, as is seeing everything up and running. But at Autopack, the hard work doesn’t end there. We don’t just walk away.

For all our customers, we believe it’s vital to have a strong after-sales team. They account for 50% of our workforce and are there to support all our customers once the automated packaging equipment has been commissioned and installed. It adds value to our service and has played a critical role in retaining customers.

How do we support customers?

Autopack is unique in that it has invested so much in after-sales support. It’s there to check in with customers to find out if everything’s running smoothly, while also being ready to tackle any teething problems an automated packaging production line might have.

Over the years, Autopack has built a strong network of technicians across the markets we serve. The number has grown and it means that should any customer need support, we have local boots on the ground, ready to tackle any challenge. This, critically, saves time and money. There’s no long wait for technical support to get to the line; when a packaging production line is down, every second is valuable to getting it back up and running.

That technical and local knowledge means Autopack is fleet of foot, able to support when the need arises. It’s part of a wide range of after-sales services on offer. Flexibility for each customer is critical – every business has different packaging needs. Our philosophy is about providing a bespoke after-sales support.

What are the options?

For example, replacement parts can come as part of a regular service and maintenance plan or part of an ad hoc repair if a part is wearing down. It’s about ensuring your machines continue to run efficiently. We stock a wide range of spare parts for the automated packaging machinery we supply and install.

Autopack offers service and maintenance contracts to extend the life of the packaging machinery we have supplied and keep things running smoothly. We have several options to suit all budgets. Again, it comes down to the bespoke approach. There is no ‘one-size fits all’ approach.

In addition, we offer specialist training on all our machinery to ensure that equipment is used, maintained and serviced properly for the longevity of your production line.
