Amcor launches AmSecure™ thermoformed trays and rollstock for the healthcare industry

Amcor has announced the launch of AmSecure™ thermoformed trays and rollstock, part of the HealthCare™ portfolio. AmSecure™ is a next-generation packaging solution engineered to meet the demanding needs of the healthcare industry. It is less expensive than other materials while maintaining comparable performance and enhancing supply chain efficiencies.

AmSecure™ is a proprietary APET-based solution that delivers comparable performance to PETG. The switch to APET maintains clarity, durability and sterilization compatibility, while offering a cost-effective and more sustainable alternative compared to PETG. AmSecure™ is designed for medical and pharmaceutical applications and maintains excellent dimensional stability compatible with standard sterilization methods.

AmSecure™ was designed to accept numerous raw material supply options with multiple qualified raw materials, providing robust supply chain continuity. This helps ensure consistency of supply and long-term reliability for healthcare customers.
