Adelphi shortlisted for two Automate UK Awards 2026

Adelphi Group of Companies has been shortlisted for two Automate UK Awards 2026, recognised for both its environmental performance and its engineering innovation.

The Group has been named a finalist in the Environmental Initiative of the Year category for its Sustainability Initiatives, while its manufacturing division, Adelphi Manufacturing, is shortlisted for Innovative Packaging Machinery for its Accuramatic XYZ Distributor II filling system.

Environmental Initiative of the Year

Adelphi's entry recognises a company-wide sustainability programme that has delivered measurable results across energy, water, waste and biodiversity. Highlights include:

• 1,007 solar photovoltaic panels installed across Adelphi's sites, cutting grid electricity use by 20-40%
• Rainwater harvesting and artesian well restoration saving approximately 144,000 litres of mains water a year
• An air-source heat pump and energy-efficient evaporative cooling systems reducing carbon emissions
• Over 95% of cardboard waste recycled monthly, alongside comprehensive waste segregation
• A dedicated wildflower meadow, on-site beehives and support for 12.33 acres of woodland conservation in the High Weald National Landscape

In 2025, Adelphi achieved EcoVadis "Committed" status and had its greenhouse gas reduction targets approved by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), aligning the business with the 1.5°C climate pathway.

Innovative Packaging Machinery

Adelphi Manufacturing's Accuramatic XYZ Distributor II is shortlisted for its integrated approach to precision liquid filling. The compact benchtop machine combines a peristaltic filling head with an XYZ positioning platform in a single unit, offering:

• Fill accuracy of ±0.5% at volumes of 3ml and above
• Suitability for cleanroom environments up to ISO Class 5
• Touchscreen HMI control with recipe storage, recall and USB connectivity
• A flat-pack, transportable design that reduces footprint and shipping costs

Designed for laboratory, pharmaceutical, biotech and cosmetics applications, the Accuramatic XYZ Distributor II reduces waste, simplifies operation and supports contamination-controlled production.
