SALT Supplements unveils premium packaging for its electrolyte sticks
Business

SALT! Supplements has introduced updated packaging for its latest electrolyte stick format, with the design centred on providing a premium unboxing experience while remaining efficient to ship and store.

The brand, created by athletes Alfonso Iovine and Kim Connor Streich, worked with print production agency COUSIN and packaging design specialist Burgopak to develop the new format.

Burgopak selected its Coupe pack structure for the project, a design created to limit unused internal space and improve presentation. The pack arranges the 15 sachets at a slight angle in a stepped layout, giving the sticks greater visibility once opened. Alongside aesthetics, the structure was engineered for material efficiency and durability, and its final dimensions were tuned to fit within Royal Mail’s large letter specifications — a move intended to support cost-effective and lower-impact distribution.

Every detail, from the angled sachet presentation to the optimised dimensions for Royal Mail shipping, balances visual engagement with cost-effective practicality.

The pack is manufactured using MetsäBoard Pro FBB Bright, a folding boxboard grade from Metsä Board. The paperboard was chosen for its print performance, strength and suitability for responsibly sourced packaging applications, aligning with the project’s protection and sustainability requirements.

We are pleased that MetsäBoard Pro FBB Bright was selected for this project, supporting brands and designers in delivering packaging solutions that meet the highest standards for quality.
