Cheez-It and Club crackers launch in new resealable canister format
Business
Mars Snacking has introduced a new resealable canister format for selected Cheez-It and Club cracker products in the US.
The packaging is being used for three varieties: Cheez-It Original crackers, Cheez-It Grooves Minis Sharp White Cheddar crackers and Club Minis Original crackers. According to the company, this is the first time the brands have offered these products in a resealable canister.

The new format has been developed with portability and on-the-go consumption in mind, while the resealable closure is intended to help maintain the crackers' texture after opening.
Cheez-It Original features the brand's established cheese crackers, while Cheez-It Grooves Minis Sharp White Cheddar introduces a smaller version of its ridged Grooves format. Club Minis Original similarly offers the existing Club cracker in a smaller size.
The launch adds another packaging option alongside the brands' existing formats and reflects the continued use of resealable packs within the snack sector, where convenience and product protection after opening are important considerations.
The new Cheez-It and Club canisters are beginning to roll out at selected retailers across the US, with a suggested retail price of $2.69.
Further information about the products is available through the Cheez-It and Club Crackers websites.
