Amcor and Berry received European Commission antitrust approval for the combination

Amcor plc (Amcor) and Berry Global Group, Inc. (Berry) recently announced that the European Commission (EC) has granted unconditional approval under the EU Merger Regulation for the previously announced combination of the two companies, satisfying the final regulatory clearance required.

In accordance with the merger agreement, this enables the companies to complete the remaining steps towards closing. The transaction is expected to close on April 30, 2025, subject to the satisfaction or waiver of certain other closing conditions.

Amcor plans to announce its financial results for fiscal 2025 third quarter ended March 31, 2025 after U.S. market close on April 30, 2025.

A conference call and webcast to discuss Amcor's results will be held at 5.30 p.m. U.S. Eastern Daylight Time on Wed., April 30 / 7.30 a.m. Australian Eastern Standard Time on Thurs., May 1. Dial-in details for those wishing to participate have been announced today and can be found on Amcor.com.
