Croxsons – How to make a wine cork

Watch our video and discover how wine corks are made.

Half of the world's wine corks come from Portugal's cork oak trees. They are protected under Portuguese law as they are so important to the country's economy and ecosystem.

Cork is extracted from early May to late August, when the bark from the trees we use in Portugal has grown to its optimum level.

We could go into more detail here, about how Croxsons only collaborates with the best growers to ensure the highest-quality wine corks, but it’s probably better to show you the process in our latest video!
