Xnext presents the XSpectra XIS4 Top-Down Inspection 600, the inspection machine specifically designed and developed to offer the best meat inspection, especially bulk meat.

Thanks to its multi-energy x-ray inspection technology, it can detect high and low-density foreign bodies such as bones and cartilage, plastics, and wood inside bulk meat directly in the production line.

The XIS4 Top-Down Inspection 600 incorporates proprietary XSpectra technology, which consists of a state-of-the-art Detection Unit capable of detecting up to 1024 energy levels of x-rays, while traditional inspection systems use a maximum of two. This way, it is possible to obtain much more information on the composition of products such as chicken breasts and pork by detecting small fragments of bone, cartilages, and plastics among others with extreme precision, minimising the number of false rejects. XSpectra performs a multi-spectral analysis in milliseconds, detecting non-conformities and contaminants and immediately decreeing compliance with the required standards.

The machine's hardware features a large 600mm-wide inspection area that allows for multi-row scanning by scanning products arranged in multiple parallel lines at speeds of up to 50m/min depending on the product's weight. The inspection geometry has a top-to-bottom orientation to ensure the best scan of the entire product being scanned by the Detection Unit.

On innovative hardware, we have added Artificial Intelligence software (XInspector) based on Deep Learning that allows us to analyse a vast amount of datasets by learning the composition of the product more and more accurately.

The software is trained by acquiring data on various product/contaminant combinations and can be updated whenever the need arises to inspect new products or search for new contaminants.

The machine complies with international quality and safety standards.

Constructed of stainless steel, it is resistant to water and moisture, and hygiene can be easily maintained thanks to the retractable belt that allows easy, fast, and thorough cleaning.
