Viscose achieves OK compost HOME certification for plastic-free shrink sleeves

We are very excited to share that we have achieved OK compost HOME certification from TÜV AUSTRIA for our transparent Plastic-free shrink sleeves, including printed transparent sleeves. This is a significant milestone for us, giving our customers independent reassurance that our certified sleeves meet recognised criteria for home composting conditions.

Our Plastic-free shrink sleeves are made from wood pulp and are biodegradable, home compostable and designed to self-shrink at room temperature. This allows them to form a secure, tamper-evident seal around containers and bottles without the need for heat-shrinking machinery.

The certified range includes our transparent and printed transparent sleeves, giving brands a practical and independently verified alternative for product sealing. As environmental claims come under greater scrutiny, independent certification is becoming increasingly important for brands looking to demonstrate responsible packaging choices.
