Supplier News

UniCarriers has advanced its low lifter offering with the introduction of a new line of compact pedestrian trucks. Packed with innovative features, UniCarriers low lifters help operators work faster and safer. These robust and reliable trucks are ideal for replenishing goods on a shop floor, transporting items over short distances in the warehouse, or order picking.

The UniCarriers pedestrian power pallet truck range includes the MLW available in 1.6, 1.8 and 2-tonne models, the 2-tonne MEW200 Ergo lift with lifting forks, and the 2-tonne MLF200 with platform.

Comfortable control

All models include a state-of-the-art tiller head with large, ergonomic and easy-to-reach buttons for more comfortable handling, even when wearing gloves. The reinforced, impact resistant tiller head is designed to withstand the daily knocks and bumps of everyday operation. There is no keypad or display on the surface of the tiller head which reduces the risk of damage to control components. The tiller head is IP65 protected ensuring it can be used in all weather and climate conditions.

An LCD display is standard on all low lifter models to show truck mode and error codes.

Built for endurance

Low lifters are built for stability and agility, with a low centre of gravity for expert handling on uneven ground and ramps. Ground clearance is just 35mm to reduce the risk of foot trapping, but trucks come with the option of higher clearance at 70mm if required.

All models feature endurance-tested welded forks with rounded tips for easier, safer pallet access. The MEW200 Ergo lift model has lifting forks to minimise strain on the operator when loading and unloading.

UniCarriers understands the toll operations can take on warehouse equipment, which is why the MLW, MEW and MLF low lifters are designed to stand the test of time. The sturdy, sealed chassis houses water-resistant electrics and protects components from dust and debris, ensuring maximum uptime and productivity whether working indoors or outdoors.

The choice is yours

Operations vary from site to site, so to ensure complete customisation, UniCarriers low lifters are available with a wide range of options, including lithium-ion batteries, pin code login, pallet entry and exit rollers, load backrest, accessory rack and working LED lights.

As part of UniCarriers' full-maintenance site support, all low lifters utilise a modular build using fewer components for faster repairs and servicing.
