You do not need new equipment to improve pallet stability. Antim® anti-slip sheets fit directly into your existing palletizing process and can make a noticeable difference from the first pallet. Start where the need is greatest and experience the effect in your own production.

When a pallet reaches its destination safely, it is easy to assume that the palletizing process works as it should. But stable deliveries do not necessarily mean the process is as efficient as it could be.

Perhaps you use more stretch film than necessary. Employees may need to realign products that shift on the way to the stretch wrapper. Or your corrugated interlayer sheets may occupy more warehouse space and require more frequent refills than you realize.

Each issue may seem insignificant. Together, they can consume time, materials, and production capacity. Because the costs occur at different stages, they are not always connected to the choice of interlayer sheets.

Start with friction

Antim® is anti-slip paper placed between product layers during palletizing. Its friction coating limits movement when a pallet accelerates, brakes, or turns during handling and transportation. This helps the layers remain in place and the load stay together.

With a slip angle of more than 50 degrees, Antim® is particularly suitable for heavy, slippery, or fragile products. The added friction can reduce the risk of shifted layers, collapsed pallets, and damaged goods. By stabilizing the load from the start, it can also reduce stretch film consumption by up to 30%.

One of the greatest advantages is how easy it is to get started.

Antim® is available as pre-cut anti-slip sheets in the size required for your production. They can be placed directly in your existing sheet magazine, allowing you to try the solution without investing in a new machine or rebuilding the palletizing line.

With warehouses in Denmark and the United States, Antim® is close to manufacturers across markets and ready for fast delivery. You can get started quickly and experience what added friction means in your own production.

A small change with a noticeable effect

When Antim® anti-slip sheets are added between product layers or replace smooth interlayer sheets, they create friction where products might otherwise begin to move. The effect can be immediate: Layers remain in place, the pallet becomes more stable, and the risk of shifting during internal transportation is reduced.

You can begin with the products or pallets where the challenges are most apparent without changing the rest of the process. This makes Antim® a simple first step toward fewer manual adjustments, less risk of damage, and a more stable flow from palletizing to storage and transportation.

The right solution depends on product weight, packaging surface, and pallet handling. Palcut helps identify the appropriate paper grade, sheet size, and placement for each production setup. The aim is to create value from the start and remain a trusted partner as your requirements evolve.

When paper handling needs to keep up

For some manufacturers, pre-cut Antim® anti-slip sheets are the right long-term solution. For others, increasing consumption eventually makes frequent refills and manual handling the next bottleneck.

An automatic Palcut sheet dispenser can then be the natural next step. It cuts one sheet at a time to the required length directly from a roll of Antim® anti-slip paper and presents it at a fixed pick-up height. This means fewer refills and less risk of the robot picking up multiple sheets and stopping the line.

At Danish mineral water producer Aqua d’Or, Palcut sheet dispensers were installed on three palletizing lines. Rolls of Antim® replaced stacks of corrugated sheets, increasing capacity from 400 to 3,800 sheets per refill.

We have gone from 400 sheets of cardboard to 3,800 sheets of Antim® paper. That means that instead of going into the line two times per hour, we now only have to go every three hours.

John J. Warberg, Operations Director at Aqua d’Or.

The reduction in downtime contributed to an additional 50,000-100,000 bottles per day, equivalent to a productivity improvement of 4-8%. Storage requirements for interlayer materials also fell from 120 to 20 pallet spaces.

The switch also improved stability between the palletizer and stretch wrapper. The sharp edges of the corrugated sheets had previously caused the stretch film to tear. That issue disappeared with the more flexible Antim® paper.

Ready to see what one sheet can change?

Start with Antim® anti-slip sheets, experience the difference in your own production, and take the next step when it makes sense for you.

Palcut is ready with expert guidance and a solution that can develop alongside your production – from the first sheet to automatic sheet dispensing.
