Amcor has extended its range of standard roll-ons with a new lightweight design that further increases the options for branding and differentiation in the beauty sector.

The Shadow roll-on offers strong on-shelf presence thanks to its on-trend rounded base design, while the wide choice of colors and extensive labelling area allows it to be fully customized for individual branding requirements. For the consumer, the roll-on combines practicality and ease of use, while brand owners benefit from a lightweight but durable construction that ensures full product protection and avoids leakages.

The Shadow roll-on is one of the lightest weight roll-ons within Amcor’s range, reducing the amount of plastic required in its manufacture. The bottle and cap can also include up to 60% post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic. Both the polyethylene bottle and polypropylene closure are recycle-ready and can be recycled where the appropriate infrastructure is in place.

Lara Alemany, product line director, Amcor Global Rigids Packaging Solutions, said: Packaging solutions for the beauty sector must balance aesthetics, functionality and improved sustainability. The Shadow roll-on demonstrates our expertise in developing robust solutions that can be easily adapted in line with latest consumer trends.
With our many manufacturing sites and ability to supply both large and small orders, we are ideally placed to support customers throughout Europe.

Amcor currently offers nearly 40 different deodorant packaging solutions to meet the varying needs of the sector. These include a wide range of sticks and roll-ons in sizes from 10 ml to 100 ml.
