Markem-Imaje (MI), a global provider of industrial marking and coding systems, is set to showcase its latest solutions for the packaging industry at interpack 2023.

The company will showcase smart codes, packaging intelligence, and connected products, all designed to support manufacturers in addressing the challenges of increasing raw material and energy prices, regulatory requirements, and consumer demand for product information transparency.

MI will demonstrate its laser, continuous inkjet, thermal transfer overprinting, large character inkjet, and intelligent print and apply labelling systems, all fully integrated with Markem-Imaje's Packaging Intelligence suite powered by CoLOS®.

The company will also unveil its patented Super Piezo Inkjet technology, which can print serialized 2D barcodes in high quality and high speed on 3D surfaces.

With a focus on regulatory compliance, MI's solutions can support manufacturers in implementing the Food Safety Modernization Act, Digital Product Passport, and GS1 Digital Link standards. MI will also co-sponsor interpack's SPOTLIGHT Theme & Trends talks on Logistics and deliver the keynote speech on the opening day.

"It is a pleasure to be back 6 years after the last interpack! Despite the global challenges we are experiencing, industry and market requirements have not stopped evolving and we are happy to bring to interpack our best solutions to increase production efficiency, connect and protect products, reduce waste, and achieve sustainability KPIs. Our new set of solutions meet and exceed the demands of both the packaging sector and wider society," Eric Barthélemy, VP Global Sales at MI says.
